From insight to action

A clear brief.
A practical direction.

An agreed mandate can extend into commercial structuring, operating models, partner identification and investment-readiness support, with operator engagement and implementation planning where required.

Research & Business Intelligence

Evidence. Innovation.
International collaboration.

Research & Business Intelligence is a specialist function within EXPAVIA Aviation Consulting, providing research, business intelligence and applied innovation capability across EXPAVIA’s wider activities.

Its organisational home is Consulting, while its work can support Project Management, Procurement, Training, Leasing and Ventures with market intelligence, technology assessment, evidence development and applied innovation.

We combine market, operator, investor, regulatory and comparable-project research with analytical judgement. Where evidence identifies a genuine problem requiring new methods, software, technology or validation, R&BI can originate or participate in applied R&D programmes with universities, research organisations, technology companies and operational partners.

Compliance, governance, standards and regulatory requirements shown as a connected professional advisory framework.

Funded innovation & collaboration

From evidence gaps.
To applied solutions.

Our funded-innovation activity operates in two modes: EXPAVIA-originated R&D programmes and participation in international research consortiums where our aviation expertise, African market knowledge, project-development capability, validation access or commercial insight can add value.

We are developing UK civil-aerospace R&D propositions and actively seeking suitable Horizon Europe and other international consortium partnerships. These activities are described as development and partnership work until formal funding or consortium status is secured.
